Awards

Won First Place in Phila. Journal Monthly Photo Contest for Staff Photographers. 1980

Won First Place in Philadelphia "Pictures in the Park" Contest, Junior Division, while still a teenager. Human Interest Category.1977.

Won Honorable Mention in National Minolta Photo Contest.  1976.

Piece of the Pulitzer Prize 1998 For contributions to The Grand Forks Herald floods of '1997 coverage. 

The Please Touch interactive project, “Kali’s Book” won second place for best multimedia project in the National Press PhotographersAssociation’s monthly national contest for Oct. 2008. The team that produced this: Frank Wiese, Karl Stolleis, Cynthia Greer, Peter Dobrin, Eric Mencher, Sterling Chen, Mike Levin and Becky Klock.
